Your Time, Their Safety: We Are Live!
The Esther Starkman Parent-Led Traffic Safety Program is a vital, parent-driven initiative launched by the School Council and Administration to address the significant safety concerns at our school's drop-off and pick-up zones.
We recognize the daily chaos created by congestion and speed. Our mission is to introduce a visible, guiding presence that encourages safe practices, reduces bottlenecks, and protects our children at their most vulnerable points of the school day.
The program's success is built entirely on your willingness to contribute just 15 minutes of your time per shift.

We have two pathways to join the program:

If you have already completed the mandatory training video or attended the in-person briefing, you are ready to patrol! Shifts are only 15 minutes long, and you choose the time that works best for your schedule.

We know your time is valuable. We have removed the common hurdles to ensure your volunteering experience is safe and easy:
Flexibility: There is no minimum commitment. You choose 15-minute shifts at your convenience.
Child Supervision: Confirmed on-site supervision is available for younger siblings during your 15-minute shift (morning and afternoon).
Designated Parking: Use reserved parking spaces in the staff parking lot while on duty.
Safety Protocol: All volunteers are trained to Guide, Not Direct, and follow a strict Non-Confrontation Protocol to ensure personal safety.
